Position: Medical Assistant

Job Description and Key Responsibilities:

• IM injections: Giving IM Injections, subcutaneous injections 
• Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills 
• Client Monitoring: Assess the client’s physical health, including vital signs, and monitor their response to treatment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, therapy services, assessments, and treatment responses.
• Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients about their therapy, ensuring they understand the process and feel comfortable throughout their treatment.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications:

• Education/Certification: Credentialed as a Medical Assistant, Current BLS required 
• Required Knowledge:
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, medical terminology, and medical practice functions.
  • Excellent skills giving Intramuscular shots.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Medical Assistant in back and front office.
• Skills:
  • Excellent IM shots administration skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on patient confidentiality
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively
  • Problem-solving abilities and independent judgment
