More Than an Infusion Nurse

We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who can do more than start an IV.

At IV Nutrition, our nurses serve as Wellness Partners to our clients. You'll combine strong clinical skills with education, coaching, relationship-building, and resource navigation to help clients take a more active role in their wellness.

You'll perform the hands-on clinical work—IV therapy, injections, assessments, monitoring, documentation, and other services offered by the clinic—but your role doesn't end when the IV is started.

You'll get to know your clients. You'll listen to what they're trying to accomplish, help them understand the services and resources available to them, answer questions, and support them as they work toward their goals.

Your role is to listen, educate, and help clients navigate the resources available to support their wellness goals. You'll have access to clinical providers, functional health resources, lab testing, nutrition support, and other tools when additional expertise or guidance is needed.

We don't expect our nurses to have every answer. We expect them to build relationships, recognize what a client may need, and help connect them with the right resources and support.

This is a staff nursing position focused on excellent clinical care, client relationships, and wellness support.

What You'll Do

Be a Wellness Partner

  • Build genuine, ongoing relationships with clients
  • Listen to clients' wellness goals, concerns, lifestyle factors, and experiences
  • Help clients understand the services, programs, and resources available to them
  • Educate clients about IV therapies, nutrient injections, wellness programs, and other clinic services
  • Reinforce established protocols and provider recommendations
  • Help clients identify appropriate next steps when additional support or expertise may be helpful
  • Connect clients with functional health providers, clinical providers, lab testing, nutrition resources, or other available services when appropriate
  • Follow up on client experiences and help clients stay engaged in their wellness journey
  • Create an environment where clients feel heard, comfortable, respected, and supported

Deliver Excellent Clinical Care

  • Perform IV starts and administer IV nutrient therapies safely and confidently
  • Administer intramuscular injections and other therapies offered by the clinic in accordance with applicable orders, protocols, and scope of practice
  • Conduct appropriate nursing assessments and screening before treatment
  • Monitor clients throughout treatment and respond appropriately to concerns or adverse reactions
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Follow medication-handling, infection-control, safety, quality, and compliance procedures
  • Maintain strong vascular-access skills and consistently deliver a professional clinical experience

Support the Client Experience

  • Explain treatments and processes in clear, approachable language
  • Help new clients feel comfortable with IV therapy and the clinic environment
  • Ask thoughtful questions to better understand what clients are trying to accomplish
  • Recognize opportunities to educate clients about services or resources that may appropriately align with their goals
  • Support membership, retention, and client engagement through education and great service—not high-pressure selling
  • Help create the warm, relaxed, professional atmosphere our clients expect
  • Participate in clinic events, Member Appreciation Days, community events, and wellness outreach when scheduled

Be a Strong Teammate

  • Work collaboratively with the Clinic Director, fellow nurses, providers, and other clinic staff
  • Help maintain treatment rooms, supplies, inventory, and readiness for the day's clients
  • Communicate client concerns, clinical questions, operational issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Support newer team members by sharing knowledge and strong clinical practices
  • Contribute to a dependable, accountable, and positive clinic culture

What We're Looking For

  • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
  • Strong IV insertion and vascular-access skills
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Prior experience with IV therapy, infusion nursing, emergency medicine, outpatient care, wellness, or a related clinical environment preferred
  • Comfortable educating and coaching clients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to listen, ask good questions, and explain clinical information in an approachable way
  • Good judgment and confidence working within established protocols
  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving outpatient environment
  • Genuine interest in proactive wellness, nutrition, and helping clients take an active role in their health
  • Comfortable building long-term relationships rather than simply completing procedures and moving to the next client

The Kind of Nurse Who Will Thrive Here

You'll probably enjoy this role if you're the nurse who naturally spends an extra few minutes talking with a patient instead of simply completing the task.

You like explaining the why, not just the what.

You enjoy getting to know people and seeing them return over time.

You can listen to someone describe what they're trying to accomplish, help them understand their options, and connect them with additional resources when needed.

You don't feel like you need to have every answer yourself.

You understand that excellent nursing includes clinical skill, education, communication, trust, and knowing how to help a client take the next step.

And you take pride in being excellent at the technical side of nursing while still treating every client like a person rather than a procedure.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $30–$36/hour, based on experience
  • Incentive bonus opportunities
  • Tips
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees
  • Paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees
  • Employee treatment discounts
  • Training in IV therapy, nutrient therapy, wellness protocols, and clinic services
  • Opportunities for continued professional growth within IV Nutrition
